It was a supposedly long weekend for me, the boyf and her sister because we’ve long been planning to go back to Baler to surf. But since it’s already raining, and I have this monthly visitor I can’t shoo, we had to cancel. Sad face. Broken heart. Been dying to hit the waves since the first time I surfed! (first time meaning May 2011. LOL)
So.. me and the jowa met up on a rainy Monday, wondering where to go on a bed weather Metro. And because for the past weeks, I have been searching and reading food blogs, we decided to cancel out one of the restos on my checklist! The BRGR Project! It’s just in Maginhawa St in UP Village. Nothing to do outside your house except to EAT! :))

The Burger Project along Maginhawa St., UP Village.

It’s like you’re making your own burger by choosing the ingredients you want to be included :) Of course, per topping is equivalent to a certain amount. :)

Yey! Mozzarella sticks! Been craving for Pizza Hut’s stuffed crust (crust lang!) since forever, and when I learned they have these, NOMNOMNOM. It comes with a mango salsa pala and it costs p140. :)

Chicken Patty, Lettuce, Tomatoes, Mozzarella Cheese, Egg and Pesto dressing :) NOMNOMNOM.

Outfit Post: Thirfted Orange Cotton scarf, Thrifted Black zip up jacket, Thrifted Mng houndstooth leggings, f21 basic tank top and bangketa sandals.

Because I can’t sleep! hahaha.

oh you see my scars? That’s what you get for being a crazy little girl. Initially acquired that from a volleyball game (because I love diving in concrete, y’know), then it healed then I joined a basketball game (because, again, I love diving in concrete) then voilah, one more time! Proud of my scars, they have a story to tell. :)

Serreh na. :P

Went to Ayala Triangle to follow and wait for the boyf to finish work. ALSO, brought my laptop and earphones for him to be able to transcribe + write his article on the same day, just after his coverage. Straight news! So proud of him. His story was even published, front page! :)

Wouldn’t mind waiting for him if he’s still working. Basta may wifi! mwehrehreh

The boyf collecting interviews and info, very busy boy. Me? Facebook-ing.

Walking along Ayala Ave. Love his f21 shirt!
After his coverage + article submission, we went straight to Rockwell to check out Billabong for some rashies but fortunately ended up in StokedInc! :)
After Rockwell, off we went to Global City to check out Runnr, because the boyf’s getting set for a 21k trail run at Timberland, Tanay Rizal! Which happened just this June 18! (yes, this is a very late post haha) He wanted to get Chia seeds but the store ran out of stock, so we grabbed a few energy boosting gels as his baon. Btw, he finished the trail, for a first time 21k trail runner, why not! :)
Again, dinner dates for us are PIG OUT dates! We’re just enjoying some of the perks of his job, hehehe. Went to Seafood Island in Metro Market! Market! for this weekend’s dinner! Look at the photo! ANG DAMI KAYA NYAN.
We ordered, Sinigang na Hipon, Pinoy Nachos with Mangga, Calamares, Lechon Kawali and Medium serving of Bagoong rice. For 2? Dami nyan! Bondat kung bondat!

Have a great week ahead! :)

I am so lucky to have the boyf free on a weekday! Because everytime he is, I would sched ALL my deliveries and meet-ups (friends only!) on the same day so he could go out and drive me around the Metro to bring everything on time! He’s so sweet, I’m so lucky! HAHA.

Driving around Ortigas (Ortigas Complex nga ung byahe ng jeep eh! haha)

delivery for Mrs. Razon @ Antipolo (my boyf’s neighbor! haha!)

Outfit post: Thrifted Zara dyed top; thrifted bandage keyboard skirt; Sm Dept Store sandals; My momma’s bag
The best part of our dates will always be dinner! So for this Tuesdate, we went to Uncle Cheffy at Bellagio Circle in Global.

That’s the poging jowa

I didn’t know what they call this, but it’s a very very yummy tomato based pasta, really maasim (which I adore btw!)

Again, I didn’t know what it was called. haha. But it’s like a garden salad with shrimps, pomelo, alfalfa sprouts, & lettuce. The pomelo in the salad is PERFECT! This reminds me of Chili’s salad with orange in it? But this one is BETTER. <3

TADA!!! PANIZZA!! Know Yellow Cab’s, Dear Darla? It’s a first by Uncle Cheffy and they call it Panizza! :) It’s thin, with lots of cheese! Plus you can choose two flavors for the price of one! YUMMEH. /laway
SUPER GOOD FOOD! Seriously, everything were so good I didn’t even bothered asking what they were! I just munched on everything hahaha.
So this is how me and the boyf roll on random dates. :)

PFW 2011
Attended Oxygen’s Show at SMX last May 13, 2011 together with some of my college friends who now works for GABC —-GABC being the carrier of Oxygen, Penshoppe, ForMe, Memo, among others.

It was a quick show, if I remember it correctly, Oxy showcased around 50pcs of their Holiday collection. They played with dark, neutral colors having black, gray and white as staples. The cut and silhouettes were very androgynous and tailored but with a mix of soft and versatile look.
Don’t have photos of the garments. Sorry!
Btw, here are some of our photos:

Myself: Oversized peach burnout top, thrifted Esprit Maxi skirt, White thrifted clogs, Assorted colored bangles

Elaine in gray tights, off shouldered tunic and SM Parisian wedges

France in her tube floral overalls and pink peeptoes

Maica in her assymmetrical dress and peeptoe sandals

It was a perfect escape from the hustle and bustle of the Metro — no network signals, no electricity, no facilities. This place called Nagsasa Cove in Pundaquit, Zambales is pure love.
I visited the place summer 2010, and the first time I saw the whole stretch, I fell in love. Imagine pine trees, a sandbar separating the river from the ocean, nipa huts, and a sky filled with stars at night - relaxing.
I visited the place again with my family last April 30, and nothing much has changed. A paradise still.
Hope you enjoy the photos! :)

Because it’s summer, and because my boyf’s ze best. <3
April 16, 2011 - yey for unplanned roadtrips! went to Subic for a quick, cheap beach trip. We found ourselves at Camayan Beach Resort. As early as 10am, all cabanas were already occupied, so me and my boyfriend opted to stay along the shore for the rest of the afternoon. And good thing we did, because we were able to find a quiet spot near the end of the stretch. :)

Just what I needed. :)

We left the resort at around 5pm. Then headed straight towards Meatplus for dinner, also inside Subic.

Hello, Summer!! :)
